Description

damn... I haven't drawn anything for long. yeah, when I was searching for some cool photos of Dave Mustaine I found this. And my first thought was "oh my ...!" this is adorable. Truly. He looks so innocent (he isn't!)
Shades were just amazing, so dark, yet so delicate. yeah i'm really satisfied :la:

This artwork lokks prety good. The face anatomy is well used with all the parts of the face well proportioned. The hair shade and light is well used too. As a traditional artist I must say hat is well drawn and I must congratulate you ^^

But still it could be better if you did it a little bit lighter no? It is too dark xP
Also the upper lip is a little bit deformed as the left part is slightly biger than the left one.
You have too many shades too... As you use pencil the best way to get lights and effects id with a little rubber (you can use a pencil rubber as I do <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> )
You could do some detailed little hairs mixing the black of the pencil and the rubber effect. That would make it a little bit more voluminous.
Finnally if you added more light effects in the eyes they would have a more alive look. Also his right eye has an ill look, as somebody hitted it. Less shades is the best I can suggest you.

Well... hope this critique has helped you a little bit.
Keep going! You have a great potential in portraits!
